“supreme” crime against humanity because it contains all of the crimes; such
as: rape, murder, and torture to going to war with the Army “you have,” and
when Marine units are going from door to door in civilian areas, kicking in
the doors one day, then begging for food the next, nothing about this war
has been about supporting the troops. In the name of God, they have been
drinking contaminated water that was supposed to be purified by Halliburton
who took the money and did not do the job.

If we had no troops in Iraq, then they wouldn’t need this hypocritical
support that Congress says that they need. The more speedily that they are
brought home the less need they have for the armor, food, and clean water
that they are not getting anyway.

Support our Troops? Or Support our War Racketeers? I would stake everything
I own on the fact that if you scratched the surface of each Congressperson’s
district who says that they are against the war and the Commander in Chief,
but will vote on continued funding, you will find someone who has a
financial stake in keeping this occupation healthily funded.

Solutions

BushCo are fond of saying that all liberals do is complain but they offer no
viable solutions. First of all, we, as a nation, will have to face up to the
fact that there will be no good solution for Iraq and nothing will make the
country look pretty at first. BushCo has screwed up that country for
generations to say the least---one thing that recent history has shown us
though, is that an escalation will only make things worse.

There have been so many Democratic solutions offered to Bush’s problem. They
won’t work either. From Hillary’s bill to put a cap on troops to Reps
Woolsey, Lee, and Water’s H.R. 508 that was introduced yesterday, we know
that Bloody George can put a quick end to those bills with his veto power or
a signing statement vowing to disobey the very thing that he has just signed
into law.

Congress and George in their pas-de-deux of death know something better than
you and I: The president is the Commander in Chief. Congress appropriates
money. As long as the Commander has money in his coffers, he can do what
ever he wants with his GI Joes.

The only thing that can stop this war, save Iraqis, and support our troops
is to pull the money plug. Giving more money to someone who is “not of sound
mind or understanding” is simply crazy in itself.
