Dear Colleagues:

I am writing to let you know about the City's new TV show, "We Are New York". Please accept my apologies if we've already sent you this information.

"We Are New York" is a new way to learn English on TV.  The nine-episode series features immigrant stories from New York - stories of hope, love, family and friends.  Watching the show will help adults learn the English they need to make it in New York.  The show has been on the air for a few weeks and we have received lots of positive feedback from ESL teachers, students, and the general public.

The show is on channel 25 (broadcast, Time Warner, RCN, Verizon FiOS) and channel 22 (Cablevision) Saturdays at 4:00 pm and Sundays at 7:30 am.  You can also watch it on cable channel 74 on Fridays at 10:00 pm and Sundays at 1:00 pm.

1) Mayor Bloomberg's Press Release encouraging New Yorkers to watch "We Are New York"
2) Fliers in English and Spanish- Please feel free to print and distribute as you wish
