Welcome to the Political Allies I newsletter, sent out one to three times a week. Suggested actions can be as easy as clicking on a link urging your representatives to support particular legislation or information on joining a Philly or national demonstration. Grass Roots actions and articles cover the topics: public education, the environment, healthcare, lesbian and gay rights and peacemaking. Included are local, national and international actions and news generally not seen printed in the Philadelphia Inquirer or New York Times. If you would like to see national and international actions and news without Philadelphia based action, you may want to subscribe to political_allies_ii instead. This email list serve is hosted by the American Friends Service Committee, but the content of the messages is purely mine, and should not be seen as necessarily approved by AFSC.
